Elaine Greenshields
Playgroup Manager
My name is Elaine and I have been employed at the playgroup since August 2014. I was promoted to Manager in February, 2022. I was employed straight from college where I gained my HNC in Early Education and Childcare and I was a keyworker to the Green Group. I have loved my time at the playgroup and have gained lots of practical experience working on the floor. I am the Keyworker to the Green Group and enjoy the opportunity to see the children's personalities grow as well as their confidence and resilience. I am the playgroup's Math's Lead, registered with SSSC, First Aid qualified and I have attended many training courses to ensure my CPD is current. I completed my PDA in 2019 and started working towards my BA in Childhood Practice at the University of Glasgow in August, 2020.

hi I'm Caitlin and I am employed as an Early Years Practitioner at the playgroup. I joined the playgroup in August 2020 and I am the keyworker for the Blue Group. I am loving my time at the playgroup meeting the children and their families.
Janice Watt
Deputy Manager - Keyworker for the RED Group
Hi there my name is Janice and I am the groups Deputy Manager and Keyworker to the Red Group. I enjoy working with all of the children but I particularly enjoy the opportunity to bond with the children in my key group. It is a pleasure to be there for them and to watch them grow and thrive during their time at playgroup. I have been employed as a practitioner at the playgroup since 2004 and during my time I have attended many training courses. I have my Level 3 SVQ in Children's Care and Development, I am a qualified First Aider, registered with SSSC and I am PVG checked.
I have 2 big boys who attended the playgroup although that seems like a long time ago now and a furbaby.

Hi my name is Leigh and I have just started working at the Centre Playgroup. All the children, staff, parents and carers have been making me feel very welcome.
Hi my name is Christine and I have just started working at the Centre Playgroup. All the children, staff, parents and carers have been making me feel very welcome.
I particularly love outdoor play and am now very fortunate to be based in a playgroup within a beautiful park with a woodland on its doorstep. The children have been excitedly showing me the Gruffalo trail, the sensory garden and even their hidden den.
I have recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Early Years at the University of West of Scotland, and in 2015 I graduated from Glasgow University with a BA in Childhood Practice. I am registered with the
Scottish Social Services Council and PVG registered.
