About us
A very warm welcome to The Centre Playgroup's website.
The Centre Playgroup is a community playgroup based within Mount Vernon Community Hall in Mount Vernon Park.
Yes that is correct we are in the big round white building in the park and have been for over 40 years now.
The group is ran by a committee of volunteer parents/carers, elected at our AGM each year. Any parents/carers are welcome and encouraged to join our committee.
Registration
The Playgroup works in partnership with Glasgow City Council and can offer 35 funded places to children aged from 3 to starting school.
We presently offer 600 funding hours over the course of the academic year and our sessions run from 9.15am - 12.30pm and on Thursday and Friday we offer a lunch club until 1.30pm

2019/2020 and 2020/2021. Please remember it is never to early to register your child at the playgroup.
Meet our staff
The playgroup staff are fully qualified or working towards the relevant qualification. All members of staff are Registered with SSSC.
